Open to the Public

Lit’s policies put independent businesses on equal footing with the national chains.

No Membership Fee -- Lit is open to the public for free.

Pricing Policy -- Lit offers the same low price to all customers. We do not bargain or play games. Some items have a “Case Discount,” and those prices are posted and available to all.

Payments -- Lit accepts the following forms of payment: Cash, Visa, MC, Discover, AMEX and EBT.

Returns -- Lit offers full refunds if 1) the customer presents a proof of purchase from Lit and 2) the returned item can be sold as “new.” Special Order Items are subject to re-stocking fees.

Will Call -- Lit will pull “Case-Only” orders in advance of customer pick-up if 1) the customer is on file with Lit, 2) the order is at least 10 cases, and 3) the order is faxed 24 hours prior to pick-up. (901-523-1579 FAX).

“Non-Profit” Sales Tax Exemptions -- Lit will honor Tennessee sales tax exemptions for nonprofit organizations if 1) Lit has a current Tennessee Tax Exempt Certificate on file for the nonprofit customer and 2) the nonprofit customer uses a check, credit card or charge account matching the name on the Tax Exempt Certificate.

“Resale” Sales Tax Exemptions -- Lit will honor sales tax exemptions for items that businesses purchase for resale if 1) Lit has a current Resale Certificate on file for that business and 2) the customer signs a copy of their receipt declaring that the items exempted from tax are being purchased for resale.
